Bye Bye Binky!!

We took Peytons binky away! We are on day 4 and its going suprisingly well. I always said I would take it away when he turned 2. Well he has been 2 for almost 3 months:) ( Thursday he went to grandma's house and apparently he left it there-Peyton will only take the newborn green soothie binky, I swear we have bought at least 50 packages of these dang things. One day we would have 20 of them and the next we would have none- I swear when we move they will all show up and we will be able to open a binky store! ) Anyway, he woke up at 2 in the morning freaking out cause he didnt have his beloved binky. I was frantically looking under every nook and cranny trying to find this thing- no luck. So thats how we "decided" to take away the binky. I decided we better take the bull by the horns and just do it- I figure we might as well get all the 3 hour, 2 in the morning tantrums out of the way now. Im glad it happened the way it did though. I needed that push. I swear it was just as much for me as it was for him. I thought he would die if he didnt have it- It kept him happy so therefore it kept me happy:) He is doing really well though. He still asks for it occasionally but not as much as I thought he would. I told him it broke- and he is a big boy and only babies have binkys- he just laughs and says "oh gosh!" Now we can move on to the next venture:)

Potty Training- Phase 2

Are these not the cutest little underoos you have ever seen? We are potty training.. again. He showed interest in going potty a couple months ago but then stopped completely until now. I figure we are still ahead since he just barely turned 2 end of December. He had big boy underwear on yesterday for like 5 hours without any accidents- Way to go PEY PEY!!
